Gasoline Manufacturer, Nacero Planning $3 Billion Plant In Arizona

A gasoline manufacturer is planning to build a $3 billion plant in Casa Grande.

Nacero Inc. announced plans to build a plant that will produce 35,000 barrels of gasoline daily but will have a smaller carbon footprint on the environment than traditional gas.

The Houston-based company said the gasoline the plant produces will avoid putting 5.2 million tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere per year.

Nacero Inc.’s infrastructure will use existing pipelines, railroads, power lines and highways, creating value with minimal disruption, the company’s website said.

The plant will produce about 2,000 construction jobs and 265 permanent jobs.

The plant’s expected construction is set to begin in 2021 with a completion target of 2025. The plant will be company’s first facility and will be built on 1,000 acres.

The announcement of the new plant is the latest development in Casa Grande and across Pinal county.
