PHOENIX, AZ — Frontier Airlines is expanding its offerings for Arizona travelers with a new nonstop route connecting Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
The service, slated to begin on March 7, 2025, will operate twice weekly, on Fridays and Mondays, providing a convenient option for both business and leisure travelers.
Exploring Austin
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is located about five miles southeast of downtown Austin, Texas’ vibrant capital city. Known for its thriving tech industry, including a burgeoning semiconductor sector, Austin is also a hub for culture, music, and food, making it a popular destination.
Frontier Airlines Expanding Reach
This new Phoenix-Austin route is part of Frontier Airlines’ broader expansion plan, which includes 16 new routes nationwide in 2025. Additionally, Tucson International Airport will gain a new route to Denver starting March 3, 2025, with flights available three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
“Consumers can continue to look to Frontier as their ultra-low-cost carrier of choice,” said Josh Flyr, Frontier Airlines’ Vice President of Network and Operations Design.
