Free Shred-A-Thon in Flagstaff this Saturday

What: The Attorney General’s Office, the City of Flagstaff, the Flagstaff Sustainability Program, and the San Francisco de Asis Catholic Parish are hosting a FREE Shred-A-Thon this Saturday, July 17th.

The public can remain in their vehicle during the event, and participants are asked to place documents in the trunk of their vehicle before arriving.

There is a five-box limit for shredded documents. Examples of items not accepted (but not limited to): binders, binder clips, inhalers, aerosol cans, lotions or liquids, needles, and hydrogen peroxide.


When: Saturday, July 17th at 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (or until trucks are full)

Where: San Francisco de Asis Catholic Parish, 1600 E Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) regularly hosts free Shred-A-Thons throughout the year. So far in 2021, the AGO has helped the public shred more than 55 tons of unwanted documents. More information on upcoming events can be viewed here on the AGO website.
