Four Individuals Arrested After Drug Deal Witnessed In Supermarket Parking Lot

A suspected Arizona drug dealer and three others were arrested last week for possession of a large quantity of fentanyl pills in Phoenix.

According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, the Yavapai County Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking (PANT) task force apprehended four individuals and confiscated illegal substances on Thursday. This occurred following a stakeout at a parking lot of a grocery store in Camp Verde.


YCSO has identified the prime suspect, 26-year-old Ryan Wrubel from Rimrock, as the main drug supplier. According to reports, Wrubel was found in possession of approximately 600 fentanyl pills. He has been charged with four felonies, including the illegal sale of a narcotic substance.

According to YCSO, Amber Spencer, a 39-year-old resident of Rimrock, was arrested on four counts of drug-related felonies, which included possessing 200 pills of a narcotic for the purpose of selling. Additionally, she was charged with child abuse and endangerment as she had a child with her during the incident.

Two additional Camp Verde suspects reportedly possessed a total of 100 pills at the time of their arrest. 42-year-old Walt Dawson was taken into custody for four felony charges, which included the intent to sell a narcotic drug. 24-year-old Marik Fox was apprehended for having a narcotic drug in his possession, as well as possessing drug paraphernalia.

The PANT multi-agency task force received assistance from the Camp Verde Marshall’s Office in making the arrests.
