PHOENIX – A pedestrian died Friday night after being hit by a vehicle near 51st Avenue and Van Buren Street, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The collision occurred around 6:30 p.m., and the woman was transported to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries later that night. Authorities have not yet released her identity.
