Flower Market donating roses, American flags for fallen soldiers

To honor America’s military service members, the Arizona Flower Market is donating a red rose and an American flag to the first 500 customers who visit its Phoenix store from Friday to Sunday.

The 12-by-8-inch flags, made in America, are intended to be placed on the grave of a fallen soldier.

“Memorial Day is a time to honor those men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country,” said Brad Denham, owner of the Arizona Flower Market. “We want to help the community honor these American heroes by donating flowers and American flags to be respectfully placed on the grave of a fallen soldier this Memorial Day weekend.”

The American flags are compliant with the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona’s  guidelines for its cemetery.

The Arizona Flower Market, 2050 S. 16th St., Suite 105, is open Friday until 6 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday 7 a.m. to noon.
