PHOENIX — A fire tore through a Phoenix muscle car showroom on Wednesday evening, damaging more than a dozen vehicles before firefighters brought it under control.
Crews responded to the Arizona Muscle facility near Fifth Street and Dunlap Avenue around 5 p.m., where they found flames rapidly spreading through the showroom.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze before it reached a separate room housing additional cars, ultimately saving about 20 vehicles.
Despite their efforts, between 15 and 17 cars were at least partially burned or damaged in the incident.
Investigators believe the fire originated from a single car, but the exact cause had not been determined by Wednesday evening. The incident remains under investigation.
