1.2 million seniors (65 and older) experienced food insecurity. FSL provides nearly 500,000 meals to Arizonans each year.
During the pandemic, FSL’s services have become more urgently important than ever. Seniors have struggled in the new economy. And many have become even more limited in their ability to fend for themselves. FSL has seen a 45% increase in demand for meals for seniors!
FSL continues to serve their clients in need, but along the way, they were forced to cancel the only fundraising event of the year – Hope In Motion, resulting in a loss of $98,550! Through the gracious giving of our Arizona community, they are chipping away at that loss.
