Eegee’s official return to metro Phoenix has been set.

The popular Tucson-based fast food chain recently announced plans to open in Gilbert at the southwest corner of Baseline Road and Val Vista Drive on July 15.

And as a special treat to customers, Eegee’s will give out free food and drink for a year to some customers as part of its grand opening.

It won’t be the only Valley location to open this year.

Eegee’s has plans to open a second location in Gilbert, with additional restaurants opening in Phoenix, Mesa and Scottsdale before the end of 2021.

Currently, the closest Eegee’s location to Phoenix is in Casa Grande. Eegee’s has more than 20 locations across Tucson and has been in business since 1971.
