PHOENIX – Starting Wednesday, October 9, 2024, early ballots will be sent to voters on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) for the upcoming City of Phoenix Mayor and Council Election and Special Vacancy Election. This crucial election will give eligible Phoenix voters the chance to decide on the city’s leadership and important ballot measures.
What’s on the Ballot?
In this election, registered voters in Phoenix will be selecting a Mayor for a four-year term beginning April 21, 2025. In addition to the mayoral race, voters in Council Districts 1, 3, 5, and 7 will also choose Council Members to serve regular four-year terms, also starting in April 2025. Voters in Council District 7 will have an additional task of electing a Council Member to fill the remainder of the current term, which ends on April 21, 2025. Alongside the leadership decisions, voters will weigh in on three ballot measures impacting the future of Phoenix.
