This week’s Drone video gives you an up close look at the magnficient Mount Rushmore creation. Nestled in South Dakota’s Black Hills National Forest is the site of four incredible carved sculptures depicting the faces of U.S. Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. The project that took 14 years to complete from 1927-1941, was led by main sculptor Gutzon Borglum. This remarkable project required 400 sculptors working under extreme dangerous conditions and required removing 450,000 tons of rock in order to create the carved heads. Each President reaches a height of 60 feet. Mount Rushmore receives 2 million visitors every year, and is considered one of America’s most popular tourist attractions.
