Hawaii, our 50th state, consists of 8 islands in the Pacific Ocean and is the most isolated population center on the face of the earth. One of the Hawaiian islands, Oahu is known as “The Gathering Place” and is the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands, making up two-thirds of the population of Hawaii.
