PHOENIX, AZ – A suspected DUI driver crashed into a work truck in Phoenix on Tuesday night, killing a worker who was accessing a sewer line, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The victim, 54-year-old Yusuf Munir, was in the back of his work truck, which was stopped in the roadway near 32nd and Grand avenues. Emergency cones were placed around the area to designate it as a work zone when the collision occurred.
At around 10:50 a.m., a truck driver crashed into Munir’s vehicle. Phoenix police officers arrived to find Munir inside the work truck with serious injuries.
