PAGE, Ariz. — One person was killed and multiple others injured in a head-on collision involving a tour bus in northern Arizona on Wednesday, according to the Page Police Department.
The crash occurred on Coppermine Road, about 11 miles south of the Utah border, when a southbound sedan crossed the centerline and collided with a northbound Antelope Slot Canyon Tours bus.
The driver of the sedan died at the scene. Authorities said several passengers on the tour bus sustained serious injuriesand were treated by emergency responders.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Speed and alcohol have not been ruled out as contributing factors.
