Diamondbacks Offer $1 Hotdogs In August

The Arizona Diamondbacks have always served up world-class Major League Baseball entertainment. And if you come on a Tuesday night, dinner could be on the D-backs as well.

The concessions at Chase Field are offering $1 hot dogs at each of the Diamondbacks’ Tuesday night home games through August. On Dollar Hot Dog Nights, fans can enjoy a hot dog for half off the normal price of $2.

Concessions are already low at Chase Field, which boasts one of the lowest Fan Cost Indices in the League. This measurement looks at what the average family stands to spend for a night at the ballpark, between tickets, parking, and refreshments. Where crowded urban stadiums like Wrigley Field put the pinch on fans for parking, a night of baseball with the Snakes is measurably more accessible.

Even with low concessions, the Diamondbacks are happy to offer more. Their Value Pack combines treats and drinks with affordable seats for under $30 per fan. And with programs like the All- You-Can-Eat Seat, which gives open access to concessions at an affordable $35, families can skip the restaurant and make Chase Field their one-stop destination for a night of family fun.

Dollar Hot Dog Night joins the team’s other promotions in keeping the seats packed through a scorching August. The team is looking to keep up the momentum of other successful programs like the Student Pass, where fans can use their smartphones to opt into a club that sends deep discounts directly to them via text message.

Phoenix is a town that keeps its baseball fans entertained for less, at a time when overheated Arizonans are in most need of cool drink and entertainment. If you stop by for those Dollar Hot Dogs on a Tuesday night, be sure to wear teal as well for #TealTuesdays, in celebration of the throwback look of this season’s hometown duds.
