Desert Ridge To Become Home To First H&M In Phoenix

In fall 2019, H&M will expand its Arizona presence by adding a location in the Desert Ridge Marketplace for its first Phoenix store.

The Swedish fashion retailer announced the news on Monday, with the store to become the ninth in the Valley and will cover 21,000 square-feet.

Along with its traditional inventory of clothing and accessories for men, women and teens, the Desert Ridge location will also carry the H&M Kids line for newborns to 14 year olds.

Having opened its first store in Vasteras, Sweden in 1947, H&M entered the U.S. market 18 years ago.

The company currently has over 4,800 stores throughout 71 global markets, with 500 of those locations being in the U.S.

The previously-established locations in metro Phoenix are all found in the suburbs, with two in Scottsdale, two in Glendale, two in Tempe, one in Gilbert and one in Chandler.
