Cross Roads Preschool prepares children for success

Countless studies show, children who attend high-quality preschools are more prepared to enter kindergarten and are more successful in their educational careers. While deciding which school is right may not be an easy one, many Phoenix parents choose Cross Roads Preschool and Kindergarten.

For 50 years, Cross Roads has provided a nurturing environment for children where they learn to love school and master the necessary skills for future success. Recognized as a play-based school, Cross Roads exposes children between the ages of 18-months and six years, to all education disciplines including language and literacy, art and mathematics.

“Our job is to foster the growth of a child and set the foundation for their education and that needs to be our number one priority,” Cross Roads Preschool and Kindergarten director Annemarie Mansour said.

Since opening it’s doors in 1966, Cross Roads has prepared thousands of children for Arizona’s public and private educational systems. Their teaching methods ensure children leave with the skills they’ll need for a bright educational future.

As part of the school’s philosophy, Cross Roads stands by three interconnected areas of focus for a quality-learning environment: mind, body and family. They believe engaging children’s natural interest in the world around them feeds their curious and creative minds. Attending to children’s physical development allows them to focus on learning. And involving the entire family enhances a child’s overall educational experience.

“A child that comes to our school is going to leave with a strong foundation for their education future,” Mansour said. “They are going to know that education is important, education is fun. I think kids leave here ready to take it on, ready to take on what the next step is.”
