An international cream puff chain will open its second Arizona location in Gilbert this month.

Beard Papa’s new location is scheduled to open on Feb. 19. The location is in the SanTan Village Mall at 2196 E. Williams Field Rd. The set operating hours for the bakery will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.

Beard Papa’s brought their tasty cream puffs to Arizona a year ago. Their first location to open is at Scottsdale Quarter.

Customers can choose between eight of the chain’s signature cream puff shells, which include original, chocolate eclair, green tea éclair, honey butter, crispy almond, Oreo cookie crumble éclair, strawberry eclair and smores éclair. Beard Papa’s has additional menu offerings including chocolate fondant and blended drinks.

“These cream puffs are not like what you would find at the grocery store. They are fresh and made to order, which makes them simply amazing and addicting,” Jeet Mukherjee, the Arizona franchisee owner of Beard Papa’s, said in a press release.

“The brand has a cult-like following around the world, and we are excited to expand our reach in Arizona.”

The international chain, founded in Japan in 1999, has more than 400 locations in 15 countries and territories.
