COVID Delays Arizona Country Thunder Festival Again

The Arizona Country Thunder music festival has been postponed again because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“After consultations with government and health officials and continual monitoring of the COVID-19 related phases of re-opening in the state, it has become clear that this event cannot be held safely at this time,” the event’s website says.

The thrice-delayed concert in Florence has been pushed back to Oct. 14-17. Dustin Lynch, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and Eric Church, in that order, are the nightly headliners.

The lineup also includes, among others, Mitchell Tenpenny, HARDY, Chris Janson, Ashley McBryde, Meghan Patrick, Randy Rogers Band, Parker McCollum and Travis Denning.

All current ticket orders will be automatically transferred to the new dates. Ticket holders should receive emails explaining their options.

Refunds can be requested by completing an online form by Friday.

Tickets and campsite rentals for the new dates are available through the Country Thunder website.

The 2020 version of the annual festival was originally set for April of last year. It was first rescheduled for Oct. 29-Nov. 1, and then moved to April 2021 before the latest change.

The event lost Kane Brown from the original list of headliners.
