Costco Will Require Shoppers Wear Masks Beginning May 4

Costco has released plans to take extra precautions for employees and shoppers during the coronavirus pandemic.

On Wednesday, Costco announced that all members and guests while shopping will be required to wear a face mask that covers the mouth and nose. This requirement goes into effect on Monday, May 4. This rule will not apply to children under the age of two years old or those who are unable to wear a mask due to a medical condition.

In addition, beginning May 4th, Costco will offer members ages 60 or older special operating hours. Costco warehouses will be open from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Monday thru Friday for members ages 60 and older, and people with disabilities.
