Coronavirus Death Total In Arizona Continues to Climb

After two consecutive days of single-digit deaths reports, Tuesday morning update shows Arizona has experienced another 20 new coronavirus fatalities, bringing the state total to 562.

In addition, the state has recorded 356 new positive tests. Arizona’s COVID-19 case total now is 11,736.

The state has administered a total of 122,842 tests for the virus, an big increase of 6,378 from the previous day.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports the national deaths have reached 79,756 from more than 1.3 million COVID-19 cases as of Monday.

Globally Johns Hopkins University’s data reports there have been 4.2 million cases and over 287,000 deaths as of Tuesday.
