Not even a year from its opening, Burger Rush off of Central Avenue and just south of Indian School Road, has closed to the surprise of many. With another location in Tempe, the Arizona burger joint replaced a McDonalds at the Central location earlier in 2016 only to leave the space vacant again for the time being.

With a multitude of businesses and hordes of weekday lunch crowds in walking distance from their Midtown location, not to mention the rising restaurant popularity in Phoenix, this location unexpectedly closed shop with no notice leaving locals wondering what went wrong.
