Bike to Work Day is on April 17, 2019! You can join countless city and state officials as they travel to work on two wheels instead of four. The event will include a bike ride and breakfast in downtown Phoenix. Officials hope the event will inspire residents to increase their physical activity and decrease activities that contribute to pollution.
Everyone is invited to join the event, but you are required to bring a bike or use the Social Bicycle app to rent a bike.
If you’re participating in the event, you can ride with a large group of other participants, which will be accompanied by a police escort, from midtown Phoenix to CityScape. Check-in for the ride is at 6:30 am, and the ride begins at 7:00 am. If that isn’t appealing, you can choose to ride to CityScape at 1 E. Washington Street.
If you register for the event by April 12, you’ll receive a free t-shirt, free breakfast, and be entered into a raffle to win great prizes. Click here to register.
Even if you don’t want to ride, you can still be involved. You can visit CityScape to cheer on riders and listen to speakers. Come enjoy the fresh air and celebrate wellness! Click here for more information.
