Carvana Launches Vehicle Reconditioning ‘Megasite’ in Chandler, Creating 200 Jobs

The new facility integrates inspection and reconditioning services into existing ADESA auction operations.

CHANDLER, AZ — Carvana, the Tempe-based online used car retailer, has announced the opening of its first vehicle reconditioning “megasite” in the Valley, a major move expected to create 200 new jobs and expand the company’s regional operations.

The new facility is located at 400 N. Beck Avenue in Chandler, where Carvana has integrated its vehicle inspection and reconditioning center (IRC) within its existing ADESA wholesale auction site. Spanning nearly 100 acres and offering more than 5,000 parking spaces, the site provides the infrastructure needed to support both Carvana’s reconditioning processes and ADESA’s auction services.

According to the company, integrating the IRC capabilities into the Chandler facility will boost Carvana’s overall production capacity, allowing for a more robust vehicle inventory and faster delivery options, including same-day delivery, for both retail and wholesale customers in the Phoenix metro area.

This expansion marks a strategic investment in the region and underscores Carvana’s continued focus on enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and local job creation.

The Chandler megasite is expected to play a key role in supporting Carvana’s nationwide logistics and fulfillment network, while reinforcing its presence in its home state of Arizona.
