California Chain Bringing Nashville Hot Chicken to Arizona

If you have been to Nashville, you know Hot Chicken is a popular dish! A California chain is bringing a piece of Music City to the Southwest.

Angry Chickz Nashville Hot Chicken is hitting the southwest and will debut in Arizona on Friday.

The chain’s first location will open in the northwest part of the valley on the corner of 51st Avenue and Bell Road in Glendale. Their grand opening is set for Friday, October 7th at 11 a.m. The chain is offering free merchandise to the first 100 customers.

Angry Chickz serves up chicken, with flavors ranging from no heat to extremely spicy. Their sides include fries, sliders, rice and mac and cheese.

If you are up for a challenge and want to see just how hot you can go, customers are invited to try the hottest chicken challenge. A warning to the consumers, their dish is rated at an “angry” heat level and consists of the Carolina Reaper, which is known for the Guinness World Record as the hottest chili pepper. Anyone who attempts this challenge will be required to sign a release of liability waiver form before consuming the chicken dish.

Angry Chickz currently has 18 locations across California and one in Las Vegas.
