A body was recovered from Tempe Town Lake Saturday morning after a witness spotted it floating in the water and called police.
Tempe police and fire crews responded to the scene and pulled the body from the lake. The victim is believed to be a male between 20 and 30 years old. Authorities have not yet released an identity.
Investigators found no visible signs of additional trauma on the body, though the circumstances surrounding how the individual ended up in the water remain unknown. The Tempe Police Department is continuing its investigation.
