Phoenix, Arizona is also known as Bird City, and they offer an annual comedy festival that is a must-see event.  This year’s comedic performers hail from all parts of our nation.  Let’s get the details laid out for you: 

• When:  April 6 and 9, 2017
• Where:  Renaissance Phoenix Downtown and varying venues in the area
• Access:  You can purchase four-day passes online, tickets to individual shows and tickets at the door.  But don’t delay, we could sell out if you don’t take quick action.  All tickets are general admission and each venue and offer handicap access 

You will be able to hear over 60 comics perform, some of them from the festival’s home of Phoenix.  Each one, plus other groups will be delivering incredibly funny stand-up, sketches, improvs, and storytelling.

• The length of shows will vary by the venue, and on average last about 90 minutes
• Both yummy food and drinks will be available at some locations; others may only offer beverages.  And if treats aren’t served at your venue, not to worry, you are in the perfect area for great bars and eateries
• All ages are welcome with two small exceptions: 
  • The Valley Bar and Crescent Ballroom require a minimum age of 21 and
  • Live stand up is for those 18 and over
  • You may bring your non-flash camera; however, flash photography and videos need prior permission.  If you are found with unauthorized photos or videos, you could be asked to leave the venue
  • If you are a comedian or even if you just want to test the waters, every night during the festival, we offer the Little Bird Showcase.  Here you can have your five minutes of fame on stage, and one lucky funnyman (or woman) will be awarded a longer spot on another festival show.  So, get on site and give it your best shot!  Good Luck!
