Become a Jedi at Saber Knights Academy

Have you ever wanted to be a Jedi? If so, here’s your chance. Brandon Estrella, a long time Star Wars fan, is living out his dream by starting up a Jedi Knight Academy and Lightsaber Shop in Scottsdale.  To celebrate the opening of the Academy, there was a pre-opening launch party which had a crowded bunch of over 100 attendants. The area is located in Northsight Village III and is scheduled to open in September of 2017.

The premise behind this idea is to create a fun environment to get exercise with a bit of Skywalker flavor. To accomplish this, Brandon has partnered with Alan Venable who has seventeen years of experience in martial arts. They have everything you need to become a Jedi and learn the ways of the force in one convenient locale. It should be very accessible for all ages. There’s a little something for everyone here whether you’re a die-hard fan or just looking for a more interesting way around your mundane fitness routine.

The Academy will also host workshops where you the option of buying different lightsabers from the Star Wars Universe or even customizing your own creation. Join the dark side by making your a Darth Maul dual lightsaber or hand out due justice on the light side. Which will you choose?

If you’re interested in supporting this new business to keep the Jedi Academy up and running, Brandon has started a GoFundMe page. As an incentive for donations, the first person to donate $1500 will be awarded the Darth Vader Package. This includes a two-piece helmet, a black series Vader saber, an imperial bag and your name engraved in the founder’s wall. The goal is to reach $24,000 of which $115 has already been raised.
