Arizona Update: 124 New Coronavirus Cases, 5 More Deaths

Wednesday morning, the Arizona health department reported there have been 124 new cases of coronavirus and five additional deaths in Arizona

One day after the state’s “stay at home” executive order went into place, the state’s new totals are 1,413 Coronavirus cases and 29 fatalities.

Both state and private labs have estimated that a total of 21,058 tests for COVID-19 have been processed. Currently the average that come back positive is 6%.


The Arizona Department of Health Services provides daily case and testing updates on their website every morning.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected” executive order to combat the spread of COVID-19 will be in effect until at least April 30th.

Johns Hopkins University data compiled and regularly updated states that there are more than 885,000 cases and 44,000 deaths globally as of Wednesday morning.
