Arizona Taco Festival Taking Place In October

On October 14th and 15th, Scottsdale Arizona’s annual Taco Festival will be taking place. Those interested can enjoy the event at the Salt River Fields for one or both nights. Tacos will be given away for a cheap price of $2 each.

This year’s Taco Festival will serve as the 8th annual installment of the event, and the tacos will be provided by a variety of well-known restaurants and vendors. Guests can expect to encounter over a hundred different types of tacos available.

Many restaurants well known to Arizona residents will be serving tacos such as El Hefe and Wasted Grain. Dos Gringos will also be serving food at the event. A variety of refreshing handcrafted beverages can be enjoyed at the festival such as margaritas, mixed drinks, and beer. Aside from food and drink, live music will be taking place at the event. For those looking to compete, there will be eating contests as well as a beauty pageant held for prized chihuahuas. Parents can rest assured that there are also kid zones located on the premises.

Ticket prices at the gate will amount to $15, or for a few bucks less they can be purchased online for $12. Kids under the age of 12 will be granted admission into the event for free.

A tequila expo will be taking place on Saturday, which will include 100 different blends of tequila. Admission into this event will cost $20. Otherwise, for the same price, a margarita expo will be held the following night. Festival hours will be from 11am-7pm for both occasions.
