PHOENIX, AZ – More than 30 Arizona state agencies are set to participate in a large-scale hiring event on March 20, offering job seekers the opportunity for on-the-spot interviews and potential job offers.

- Location: Wesley Bolin Plaza (across from the Arizona Capitol)

From 10 a.m. to noon, the event will focus exclusively on veterans as part of the AZ Hires Vets initiative. From noon to 2 p.m., the event will open to all job seekers, regardless of veteran status.
Opportunities for Job Seekers
Applicants do not need to hold a degree or professional certifications to attend. Many employers are emphasizing skills-based hiring, considering experience gained through alternative pathways such as military service or on-the-job training.
Arizona is part of the “Transformers in the Public Sector” initiative, a national effort aimed at helping individuals with hands-on experience secure state government jobs.
