Arizona Science Center Offers Free Admissions

On the weekend of September 30th, the Arizona Science Center will be allowing free admission into their space for everyone.

The promotion is a part of the “Fry’s Free Weekend” campaign being put on by Fry’s Food Stores. All four levels of the Center will be open to the people of Arizona (and beyond) so that they can enjoy what the Center has to offer. In addition to free admission, showings in the Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater as well as the Dorrance Planetarium will be available for just $5. Prices for the Evans Family Skycycle and Engineering Land will also be just $5.

Usually, admission to the Center is $13 to $18 and shows are $5 to $9 so this is a treat that many Arizonans will not want to miss out on.

Throughout the weekend, kids and adults alike will be able to enjoy the various hands-on demos, activities, and other displays that the Arizona Science Center will have available. The Center will have usual festivities available as well as extra fun in order to promote the Center to the larger audience that will most likely show up for the free admission.

To add even more value to the Center for the weekend, Fry’s VIP Members will get 10% off at the Ben Sprouts Café as well as the Arizona Science Store upon presenting their card.

The Arizona Science Center will be opening up for registration at 8:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. The Center will close at 5 p.m. on both days. Pre-registration as well as tickets to the theater or Planetarium are available online if you would like to purchase your spots ahead of time.

The Center is expecting a big crowd on this weekend and is informing visitors to be prepared for this eventuality. However, they are also using the wise phrase “the more, the merrier.”
