Arizona New Coronavirus Cases and Deaths Continue To Climb

Thursday’s Arizona health department report detailed that the state of Arizona has seen nearly an additional 500 new positive coronavirus cases since Wednesday’s report. In addition, Arizona has experienced 30 new deaths from the virus.

The most up to date report showed the second consecutive day with at least 30 deaths in the state. It was also the highest daily new case report of the week.

Arizona has now officially reported a totals of 12,674 COVID-19 cases and 624 deaths.

On a national level, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 82,246 deaths from more than 1.36 million COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday.

Johns Hopkins University, has reported that globally there were nearly 4.4 million cases and 300,000 deaths globally as of Thursday.
