Arizona Minimum Wage Increases to $12.80

2022 brought an increase to Arizona ’s minimum hourly wage. The state’s minimum hourly wage increased from $12.15 to $12.80 per hour.

The increase is from Proposition 206 that was passed by Arizona voters in 2016, which increased the minimum wage to $12 dollars in 2020, with by changes determined by the consumer price index.

Some Arizona cities currently have city-mandated wages. Flagstaff’s minimum hourly wage was raised in 2022 to $15.50 this year. Tucson’s wage will increase to $13 in April, with a set plan of reaching $15 by 2025.
