PHOENIX — The Arizona Attorney General’s Office has launched a new elder abuse registry aimed at improving transparency and helping families protect vulnerable adults, officials announced Monday.
The online registry allows the public to view records of abuse and neglect allegations filed against individuals or facilities since November 2018. It includes cases involving “vulnerable adults” across the state.
“I promised to protect our state’s seniors from fraud, neglect and abuse, and by publishing our elder abuse registry, we are doing exactly that,” said Attorney General Kris Mayes.
When it debuted, the registry covered 17 pages and will be updated monthly. It can be accessed via the “Senior Abuse” section of the Attorney General’s website.
