PHOENIX — Outdoor enthusiasts, mark your calendars. The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) is hosting its annual Outdoor Expo on March 29-30 at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in north Phoenix — and admission is free.
This family-friendly event offers hands-on activities and expert demonstrations for all ages, with opportunities to learn about wildlife, fishing, hunting, boating, and more.
Outdoor Expo Highlights:
Cast a line at the kids’ fishing tank
Meet live wildlife ambassadors
Try a variety of shooting sports in a safe, supervised environment
Shop the wildlife assets auction featuring antlers, hides, skulls, and mounts
Explore 150+ exhibitors with outdoor gear, recreation groups, and conservation agencies
Learn the ins and outs of responsible recreation across Arizona
Discover how to become a Hero for Wildlife and explore new outdoor adventures
“There’s really no other free event like this that combines conservation, recreation, and industry into such an interactive experience,” said AZGFD Director Tom Finley.
Attendees can also register for a chance to win prize packs from Get Outdoors Products and Umarex USA.
