The Arizona health department released their daily report and as the state prepares to open businesses and restaurants, the state sees an increase in both Coronavirus cases and deaths.
One day after Arizona reported zero fatalities, Tuesday morning’s report detailed 33 new deaths from coronavirus. Arizona now has had 395 deaths from COVID-19.
The total number of cases increased to 9,305 with 386 additional positive tests.
Besides Arizona’s new projection models indicating the state might not see the peak until May 22 or later, Gov. Doug Ducey is moving forward with opening Arizona’s economy.
