PHOENIX – The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) has launched a new podcast, “Seven Points,”designed to showcase the personal stories and professional experiences of its personnel.
Hosted by AZDPS Public Information Supervisor Sergeant Eric Andrews and Detective Sherod Harris, the podcast features in-depth interviews with AZDPS staff, providing insight into the diverse roles and responsibilities within the department.
A Platform to Share Stories
“We created Seven Points to showcase the incredible individuals behind the badge at the Arizona Department of Public Safety,” Andrews said in a press release. “By hearing from our people firsthand, we hope to offer insight into the diverse opportunities within the department that much of the public doesn’t know exist, as well as showcase the meaningful work our team does to keep our communities safe.”
First Episode Highlights
The inaugural episode features Colonel Jeffrey Glover, Director of AZDPS, who reflects on his career in law enforcement and shares his aspirations for the department over the next two years.
