Arizona Coronavirus Cases and Deaths Continues To Slowly Climb

State health officials announced on Tuesday morning, the number of positive tests for coronavirus in Arizona has increased to 3,806, with 131 deaths.

That is an increase in 104 new cases and nine additional deaths from the previous day. Arizona has tested 44,096 patients.

Maricopa County continues to be the hardest hit county and saw an increase in positive cases by 36 to 2,056 on Tuesday. Maricopa county’s death total increased by two to 54. The county health department has reported of all the positive Maricopa County cases, 20% of patients have required hospitalization.

Johns Hopkins University is reporting, as of Tuesday morning, globally there has been more than 1.9 million cases and over 121,000 deaths.
