Calling all foodies! The list is out of the U.S. Best Food cities and one Arizona city made the list as one of the top 10 best foodie destinations in America.
The city of Tucson made the Travel and Leisure’s list of “The Best Food Cities in the U.S.”
Coming in the respectful 6th spot, Tucson’s prickly pear margaritas and nopales wowed the culinary connoisseurs judges with the distinct Native American and Mexican offerings.
The best Tucson restaurants incorporate locally sourced ingredients into their drinks and dishes. With this in mind, prickly pear margaritas are a staple here, as are nopales (edible cacti). Tucson’s energetic downtown district has over 85 bars and restaurants which makes this a great destination for dining.
Travel and Leisure specifically highlighted Bata, an establishment that offers diners a large veggie-focused menu and Boca, run by James Beard finalist Maria Mazon, is known for their flavorful tacos and salsa offerings.
From coast to coast, these are the best places for foodies.
