Amazon Prime Members to Save More at Whole Foods

Arizonian members of Amazon Prime are saving huge at Whole Foods Market.

On June 13, Amazon Prime extended discounts to members who shop at Whole Foods in Arizona and 9 other states. This means great savings in the loved but pricey health food store.

If you’re already a Prime Member, you can get discounts right away! There are two ways to save:

Link your Amazon Prime account to your cell phone number. When you check out, enter your number into the pad during checkout. Or for those of you more tech savvy, you can download the Whole Foods app and login using your Amazon Prime account. When you check out, open the app and let the cashier scan your code to make sure you save money!

The app is also helpful if you’re hoping to learn about deals before you even leave the house. Log into the Whole Foods app and take a peek at what deals are going on at your Arizona Whole Foods.

One of the best deals you can get as a Prime Member is an extra 10% off of hundreds of sales items. This week, members can cash-in on Annie’s Natural Macaroni & Cheese, Wild sustainably-caught Yellowfin Tuna steaks, and Essentia Water bottles to name a few.

Other items on sale for Amazon Prime members are marked in the store with blue tags. Yellow tags indicate an extra 10% off of sale items, only for members. Whole Foods rotates their sale items every week, so look out for these signs while you shop!

If you’re hoping to share the discounts with your family, Whole Foods is allowing two adults and up to four teenagers ages 13–17 to register on each Amazon Prime account. Each person from the household should have their own account and can link it to the Prime member’s account via Amazon’s household sharing program. No matter who in your family goes shopping, they can receive the discounts!

Arizona shoppers will be able to get discounts when ordering online from Whole Foods soon. Although the option to order Whole Foods delivery doesn’t offer Arizona Prime member discounts yet, A.C. Gallo, president of Whole Foods Market has stated that he plans on, “…accelerating our timeline to expand these savings to all of our U.S. stores.”

2 hour deliveries from Whole Foods through Prime Now are available now in 10 cities. Although Arizona is not on the list, the company is planning to expand to more locations.
