Arizona drivers have three new ways to show off their civic pride — and support local causes — thanks to a fresh set of specialty license plates released by the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Motor Vehicle Division.
The new plates spotlight Ovarian Cancer Awareness, the Verde Valley Wine Trail and the Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury Foundation, each tied to a nonprofit mission. ADOT says the designs are available in both standard and motorcycle formats.
“Specialty license plates offer a fun way to put that personal touch on a vehicle and show your proud support for one of these uniquely Arizona organizations,” MVD Director Eric Jorgensen said, noting their broader impact on charities statewide.
Most specialty plates cost $25 per year, with $17 going directly to the organization represented. Last fiscal year, plate sales generated more than $14.5 million for Arizona nonprofits and community programs.

Funds support sustainable vineyard practices, responsible driving initiatives and efforts to promote northern Arizona’s wine region.
Ovarian Cancer Awareness
Proceeds help provide education, resources and direct support for patients, survivors and caregivers affected by ovarian cancer.
Phoenix Mercury / Suns Foundation
Revenue benefits the Suns/Mercury Foundation, which uses basketball as a platform to support community programs throughout the state.
