PHOENIX — Four suburbs in the Phoenix metro area have been recognized as some of the most affordable and fast-growing cities in the United States, according to a 2025 national ranking.
Goodyear placed second on the list, thanks to a rapid 33% population increase over the past five years while maintaining relatively low housing and living costs. Peoria, Surprise, and Chandler also secured spots in the top 20, reinforcing Arizona’s reputation for offering budget-conscious living in thriving communities.
The rankings reflect Arizona’s broader housing trends, where suburban areas are growing quickly due to lower home prices, new developments, and increased demand from out-of-state movers. As urban centers across the U.S. face affordability issues, the Valley’s surrounding cities continue to attract residents looking for balance between cost, quality of life, and opportunity.
