4 new beer spots to check out around Phoenix

If you’re a craft beer connoisseur, you’re in the right place. There are more than 80 breweries across the state with new spots constantly popping up. 

Here’s four new breweries and craft-beer bars opening in Phoenix.

  1. Growler USA
    Growler USA features 100 beer taps and serves a wide-variety of small bites including short rib sliders and a beer brat hoagie. You can find this craft-beer spot in 6 states including Arizona.

  2. Oro Brewing Company
    Oro Brewing Company is the second brewery to come to downtown Mesa. Owned by Chuck Wennerlund and Dave Valencia, the duo debuted the spot on Oct. 1 and are serving guest taps until the brewery is finished.

  3. The Casual Pint
    This bar features 30 taps and several small bites including wraps, flatbreads, brats and pretzels with beer cheese. The Casual Pint also features a retail section where you can pick up already six-packs or build your own.

  4. The Shop Beer Company
    The nearly 10,000-square-foot space is just south of the Tempe Center for the Arts. Open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily, the brewery will feature Desert Pale Ale, Coffee Brown and Amber Rye among other popular favorites.
