PHOENIX – A heartbreaking incident unfolded Friday night as a three-year-old child was pronounced dead after being pulled from a backyard pool in Phoenix. Emergency responders were dispatched to a home near 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road around 7:20 p.m. following reports of a child found unconscious in the water.
Authorities reported that the child had been submerged in the pool for an unknown period before being discovered. Upon arrival, police initiated CPR as firefighters arrived to assist.
