Aside from the highly anticipated golf tournament, what else can you look forward to at this year’s Waste Management Phoenix Open? Specifics along with the full list of events can be found on Phoenix Open’s Website.
Here’s a quick breakdown of what you can expect everyday on the course.
Prior to the start of the week-long festivities, the first ever “Concert in the Coliseum” will take place Saturday, Feb 5 under the lights of the 16th hole. At this 21 and up event Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion will take over the stage.
Monday, Feb. 7:
9:30 a.m. Carlisle Companies Pro-Am, TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course
Purchase tickets here to have the opportunity to play with a PGA TOUR player on the famous TPC Stadium Course. For $6,000 your package will include not only your playing spot on Monday, but also a Pro-Am favor package, four sponsor badges, hosted breakfast before you play, and hosted beverages and hors d’oeuvres after. You’ll also receive a Clubhouse Valet parking pass for Monday and a Pro-Am parking pass that’ll be good for the whole week.
Tuesday, Feb. 8:
10 a.m. R.S. Hoyt Jr. Family Foundation Dream Day Activities
Kick off the day with motivational speeches by PGA TOUR Professionals on the TPC Scottsdale Champions Course Practice Range. There will be a Trick Shot Show as well as the Junior Golf Clinic presented by PING.
11 a.m. San Tan Ford Special Olympics Putting Challenge
This hour long event is open to all ticket holders and media. On the course putting green, cheer on Special Olympics Arizona athletes as they show off their skills. Expect appearances from celebrities, sports stars, and business leaders within the community.
Wednesday, Feb. 9:
8:30 a.m. Annexus Pro-Am, TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course
Have your sharpie ready for autographs! Keep your eyes out for celebrities, rock stars, professional athletes, coaches, and community leaders as they play alongside the pros. Dress your best because you might just get the chance to interact with your favorite stars as they show off their skills on the green. Some past appearances include Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Phelps, Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker, John Elway, and Reggie Bush.
3:30 p.m. Phoenix Suns Charities Shot at Glory, TPC Scottsdale 16th hole
Gather around the 16th hole for the Phoenix Suns Charities Shot at Glory. This ‘closest-to-the-pin’ contest gives participants the chance to win $1 million for their charity of choice.
3:30 p.m. Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment tent opens
The hottest nightclub in Scottsdale is back! For four nights, the night’s headliner will take the stage at around 8:30 p.m. If you’re looking to party the day away with some of your favorite artists be sure to purchase your tickets online prior to the event. Diplo with special guest Cole Swindell will kick start the Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment on Wednesday.
Thursday, Feb. 9:
7:30 a.m. Waste Management Phoenix Open 1st round
The tournament is underway!
3:30 p.m. Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment tent opens
Sam Hunt takes the stage alongside special guest Russell Dickerson.
Friday, Feb. 11:
7:30 a.m. Waste Management Phoenix Open 2nd round
3:30 p.m. Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment tent opens
The Coors Light Birds Nest tent presents Macklemore with special guests Quinn XCII and Ayokay. They’ll take the stage on Friday.
Saturday, Feb. 12:
Deck yourself out in every shade of green for the all day green out! Wear green in support of the tournament’s green/eco-sensitive efforts.
9 a.m. Waste Management Phoenix Open 3rd round
3:30 p.m. Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment tent opens
Wrapping up the week of entertainment, Kygo will take the stage beside special guests Sam Feldt and Forester.
