2019 Fiesta Bowl Events

It is almost that time of year when Bowl games will dominate the televisions and Arizona hosts one of the popular bowl games every year. But the Fiesta Bowl is not just about a college football game. The Fiesta Bowl committee works year round to bring our state a variety of community events that are not to be missed.  Here is a list of remaining Fiesta Bowl events that are scheduled to take place in the Valley of the Sun.

The Oasis Pregame Party Presented by Cheez-Its
Friday, December 27
Chase Field, 401 East Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004
4:00 p.m.

If you’re passionate about tailgating, you are invited to join the Big 12 and Pac-12 fans at The Oasis Cheez-It® Bowl Pregame Party before the teams take to the field. The event has all the great components that a pregame should have- live music, marching bands, cheerleaders, pep rallies, interactive games and jumbotrons playing team highlights. This event is touted as fun and convenient for the ultimate tailgating experience. The pregame party is conveniently located west of Chase Field, at 4th Street and Jackson.


CHEEZ-IT® BOWL
Friday, December 27, 2019
8:15 p.m. MST

The Cheez-It Bowl will host the Air Force (Visiting Team) v. Washington State (Home Team) at Chase Field.

2019 Fiesta Bowl Parade: Women in Sports
December 28 – 9 a.m.
Central Phoenix – N Central Ave & Montebello Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012

Who doesn’t love a parade and there’s no better way to celebrate the Fiesta Bowl than too attend the annual Fiesta Bowl Parade. This year the committee has chosen to recognize five female icons, all with Arizona ties in this year’s parade theme of Women in Sports at the 2019 Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade, presented by Cheez-It.

Grand Marshals for the 2019 Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade are Special Olympics golfer Amy Bockerstette, U.S. Women’s Soccer standouts Julie Ertz and Jessica McDonald, U.S. Paralympic gold medalist Allysa Seely and arguably the greatest women’s basketball player of all time Diana Taurasi.

The parade is free to the public with reserved seating available for $30. If you can’t make it out to the parade route, you can watch the parade on azfamily.com, channel 3.

It is not college football without a tailgate party. If you have a ticket to the game, you are invited to join tens of thousands of other football fans at the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl Fan Fest Pregame Party on the Great Lawn at State Farm Stadium. Fans of all ages can experience some of the greatest pregame traditions like pep rallies and performances by marching bands and cheerleaders, interactive games to play and, of course, plenty of food and beverage booths to get you ready for the big game.
