16-year-old Girl Shot Sunday, in Critical Condition

After a double shooting in the West Valley Sunday night, a 16-year-old girl is in extremely critical condition and an 18 year old man has a non-life-threatening injury.

Around 11:30 p.m., Phoenix police were called to the area of 65th Avenue and Thomas Road for reports of a shooting.

When police arrived they located two victims with gunshot wounds were found in a vehicle, shot by an unknown person.


Police say both victims were taken to the hospital. The 16-year-old girl is in extremely critical condition. The 18-year-old man had non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives will continue their investigation to determine what let up to the shooting..
