Buckeye, AZ – A 12-year-old girl from Buckeye has been arrested and faces felony charges after making terroristic threats directed at a school in Wisconsin, authorities confirmed on Sunday.
The Buckeye Police Department was alerted early Sunday morning by the Milwaukee Police Department, which was investigating a school threat in the Milwaukee area. Investigators traced the IP address of the threats to a residence in Buckeye.
Buckeye officers responded to the home and interviewed the 12-year-old girl, who was subsequently arrested for making the threats. No threats were made against any Buckeye schools, and authorities assure the community that there is no danger.
