It is time for the horses make the annual run for the roses at this year’s 144th Kentucky Derby. For good reasons, Turf Paradise hosts the largest derby party in town. The mint juleps are flowing, women wearing fancy hats and guys in seersucker suits, it’s not a party to miss. There are several Kentucky Derby packages available on race day, which include the Clubhouse Buffet for $65 that offers plenty of delicious food in an air-conditioned and glass-enclosed clubhouse.

Looking to watch the race in classic Southern style, then head to Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Attendees can enjoy the Kentucky Derby with brunch and a lawn party. The party is themed after the “Millionaire’s Row” at Churchill Downs and will include mint juleps, activities on the “Winner’s Circle,” live music and Bulleit Bourbon tastings. The brunch includes a commemorative Kentucky Derby glass and a complimentary mint julep and a champagne toast.
